The area we cover
Our Branch covers: Chelmsley Wood, Fordbridge and Kingshurst.
Each of these wards elects three councillors to represent us on Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. They are also part of Meriden Constituency.
Our Branch
Our Branch has over 70 members and about 60 affiliated/registered supporters. We normally meet 6 times a year (bi-monthly) on the last Tuesday of the month. The branch meetings usually comprise some brief formal business, before moving onto a discussion of some aspect of Labour Party policy, or current issues of local or national importance. Everyone’s views are welcome and we often have lively and stimulating discussions.
Many of our members also play an active role in Solihull & Meriden Labour Party (S&MLP) which covers the 2 constituencies of Solihull and Meriden, and also focusses on the work of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
The Branch Officers are:
Chair: David Cole
Vice-Chair: John Kimberley
Co Secretaries: Liz Tomkins
Lydia Turner secretary.ckf.branch@solihulllabour.org.uk
Treasurer: David Cole
Women’s Officer: vacant

There is something for everyone, so if you want to discuss how you might get involved, please do contact us.
