About Us

Although Solihull is one of the richest boroughs in the country, it also has some of the greatest levels of inequality. Too many people scrape by on poverty wages; too many of our young people have to leave Solihull to find affordable housing. Public services have been in decline. Many of our elderly are isolated and lonely. Solihull deserves better.

The way that communities are rallying to support each other during the Covid-19 crisis shows that many people agree that there is a need for #FairDealSolihull and that we must rebuild in a way that puts people and communities before profit. If you agree, please get involved in our campaigns and activities.

We would like to invite members, supporters and friends to Solihull and Meriden Labour’s Online Xmas party. Prepare to be entertained and inspired by Banner Theatre.

About this Event

Labour Party members, friends and supporters are invited to our online Xmas party. Time to be entertained and inspired on these dark covid days. Locally based Banner Theatre will be presenting an evening of entertainment on their Premier Youtube channel especially for us. Please register in advance – You will then be sent the Youtube link in advance of the meeting.

The evening will be a selection of Banner songs from a wide variety of projects, shows, and struggles, together with some context for each one.

The event is FREE – but if you enjoy the party please send a donation to Banner Theatre. Although the company is in suspension at the moment due to Covid and can’t tour, there are still bills to pay, the van to maintain etc. Many hours of unpaid work have gone into making this event possible.
